I'm hoping to find another way to make a "design board" where I organize my near-term plans for sewing. I see such pretty ones that people put together in SWAPs, etc., but am not sure how they are made. I made the following in a combination of screenshots and illustrator- a huge pain! There must be a better way.
I use PowerPoint then save the slide as a jpg file. It is very easy.
ReplyDeleteI have never been able to get the photo side of these things to work. So do let us know if you find a better solution.

ReplyDeleteThanks! I am intrigued by the powerpoint idea - that seems like it'd be very adaptable. I'll keep tinkering - a good part of the fun for sewing is the anticipation/planning, so I'd like to maximize that fun as much as possible.
ReplyDeleteThey're often called a 'Storyboard' rather than design board. Try here for some ideas and instructions http://artisanssquare.com/sg/index.php/topic,5920.0.html
ReplyDeleteOooh - good link, and thanks for the correct search term!
DeleteI'd seen this post a few days ago, then stumbled on a link to this board in a different discussion. :-)
DeleteHa - yes, crowd sourcing!
