SWAP colors

For my knits, I went with a bunch of blue dyes which I'm planning on experimenting with a bit.  Yes, I know I should be mixing from more basic primary sets or something like that, but I wanted a starting point and these dyes are inexpensive.

All are Dharma brand fiber reactive dyes that need soda ash for fixing.

Moody Blue:

For the coat, I'm going to try and get a hold of Simplicity 2508 - I think I have it at home and will check tonight, otherwise there is a copy on amazon that I'll grab.

I love the raglan combined with princess lines.  I'm thinking that I'll use the mid-length, collar A, single-breasted with patch pockets.  I'm also kind of leaning towards doing couching instead of reverse-applique.  The the under-layer only shows on the inside and it's the spray paint color that matters.  Like this example:

Not doing all those buttons, though!  They are definitely pretty and wouldn't be difficult, but I'd never use them.  Snaps it will be.  Also, the more I look at this example, the more I think that I want to do the pocket treatment they have there.
