Simiplicity 3688, lining!

I finally chose my lining, after having to say no to my initial lining choices because of lack of fabric. My eye finally hit on an uncut length of flowery chiffon that I'd bought because it was pretty. It IS pretty, but is kind of too loud for a blouse for me - I'm not sure what I ever could have made it into. But it works well for a lining!

I still need to do the sleeve lining, attach those, and sew in the shoulder pads.  Then I finally get to insert the lining into the jacket and try it on!  I love that step.  I can tell that I'll want to get going on the skirt pretty soon afterwards, which means some prep work on muslins and such.
