And now, ALL the pictures

My complete Alabama Chanin-style coat using Simplicity 2508 as a base pattern.

Maybe not completely complete yet?  I want to wear it a bit before putting on all the snaps.  Oh my goodness, my shoulders are SO WONKY!

Cute shoes, though.  Front shot -

View of the inside seams - they are EXACTLY the color of the outside, but for some reason these photos have washed out completely.  But at least you can see the stitching, topstitched seam allowances, etc.  The right side of this picture is a front facing piece, whipstitched to the underside of the side front piece.

And the all-important collar piece, from the inside.   Stitched by machine to the front up to the collar notch, then flipped to the inside and attached by various hand stitches (mattress stitch at the collar and whip-stitch along the rest).

View of outside, showing under collar piece (outline of motifs, no couching).  Too bulky to do the couching, that was for sure!!!
Back.  Kind of boring in this shot.
Whole inside, again washed out for some reason.  It really is blue.
