That other little project...

Also known as, "why my mother has not been told about this blog".  The filet crochet is coming along.  Slowly, but surely.

 

Sorry - no scale indication there!  It's about 44" wide.  Hopefully it'll stretch out a little bit more when I block it.

Herei s the Burda 114 blouse from July.

Close up of the woven front.  I didn't do buttons and didn't interface anything.  I sewed the placket together by hand from the bottom of the woven section down to the bottom, so that the shirt is more of a tunic.  And then sewed metal snaps to close it.  So far that has worked out!
