Satin photos

Since this is winter and I'm not insane, this is really being styled with cardigans, but here are photos to show how it turned out!  Again, this is New Look 6161, with the pleats stitched down, sewn up the back except for a keyhole at the top and probably a slightly different neckline/armhole finish.

Woo-hee.  My shoulders are really crooked.  I think I actually prefer an even smaller neck opening if I'm going with a high neck.  This one is a tad sloppy.  The armhole could be moved a smidge inwards at the shoulder next time, too.  I was happy that the base of the armhole was right where I liked it, as drafted.  No bra showing at all.

Back stitched up, and keyhole at top closed with a hook.  I initially tried to continue my bias strip into a loop, but it looked stupid.

Zoom in on the topstitched, turned in bias binding.  I got it fairly even, but it actually looks better from the inside since then the bias doesn't show the same puckers that the on grain satin does.
